Around 150 buses connect Gunupur directly with Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Visakhapatnam, Jeypore, Bhawanipatana etc. The Gunupur railway station is connected to PALASA on Chennai - Howrah Main route and to all the north - eastern states through RAYAGADA.
